ISO 22391-2:2009 specifies the characteristics of pipe made of polyethylene of raised temperature resistance (PE-RT), Type I and polyethylene of raised temperature resistance (PE-RT), Type II intended to be used for hot and cold water installations within buildings for the conveyance of water, whether or not the water is intended for human consumption (domestic systems) and for heating systems, under the design pressures and temperatures appropriate to the class of application according to ISO 22391-1.
ISO 22391-2:2009 covers a range of service conditions (classes of application), design pressures and pipe dimension classes, and also specifies test parameters and test methods. When used in conjunction with the other parts of ISO 22391, it is applicable to PE-RT pipes, fittings, their joints, and to joints having components of PE-RT, as well as of other plastics and non-plastics materials, respectively, used for hot and cold water installations.
It is applicable to pipes with or without a barrier layer or layers.

Dieser Teil von ISO 22391 legt die Eigenschaften von Rohren aus
- Polyethylen erhöhter Temperaturbeständigkeit (PE RT), Typ I und
- Polyethylen erhöhter Temperaturbeständigkeit (PE RT), Typ II
fest, die in der Warm und Kaltwasserinstallation innerhalb von Gebäuden für den Transport von Wasser —Trink oder Brauchwasser (Hausinstallation) und für Heizungsanlagen — bei festgelegten zulässigen Betriebsdrücken und temperaturen entsprechend der jeweiligen Anwendungsklasse nach ISO 22391 1 eingesetzt werden.
Dieser Teil von ISO 22391 enthält eine Reihe von Betriebsbedingungen (Anwendungsklassen), zulässigen Betriebsdrücken und Rohrabmessungsklassen und legt auch Prüfparameter und Prüfverfahren fest. Zusammen mit den übrigen Teilen von ISO 22391 gilt dieser Teil für PE RT Rohre, Formstücke, deren Verbindungen untereinander, sowie für Verbindungen mit Bauteilen aus PE RT und anderen Kunststoffen sowie anderen Werkstoffen, die in der Warm und Kaltwasserinstallation angewendet werden.
Dieser Teil von ISO 22391 gilt für Rohre mit und ohne Sperrschicht(en).
Er gilt nicht für Werte für die Berechnungstemperatur, die maximale Berechnungstemperatur oder Störfall-temperatur, die über die in ISO 22391 1 festgelegten Werte hinausgehen.

L'ISO 22391-2:2009 spécifie les caractéristiques de tubes en polyéthylène de meilleure résistance à la température (PE‑RT), Type I, et en polyéthylène de meilleure résistance à la température (PE‑RT), Type II, destinés aux installations d'eau chaude et froide à l'intérieur des bâtiments ainsi qu'au transport de l'eau, destinée ou non à la consommation humaine (systèmes domestiques) et aux installations de chauffage, à des pressions et des températures de service spécifiées correspondant à la classe d'application conformément à l'ISO 22391‑1.

Ta del ISO 22391 določa značilnosti cevi, narejenih iz – polietilena s povišano temperaturno odpornostjo (PE-RT), tip I, in – polietilena s povišano temperaturno odpornostjo (PE-RT), tip II, ki se uporabljajo za napeljave z vročo in hladno vodo v stavbah za prenos vode, ne glede na to, ali je voda namenjena za prehrano ljudi (gospodinjski sistemi in grelne sisteme, pod računskimi tlaki in pri temperaturah, primernih za razred uporabe v skladu z ISO 22391-1. This document (EN ISO 22391-2:2009) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 138 "Plastics
pipes, fittings and valves for the transport of fluids" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 155
“Plastics piping systems and ducting systems” the secretariat of which is held by NEN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by June 2010, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at
the latest by June 2010.
