Medium power transformers 50 Hz, with highest voltage for equipment not exceeding 36 kV - Part 2: Transformers with cable boxes on the high-voltage and/or low-voltage side - General requirements for transformers with rated power less than or equal to 3 150 kVA
EN 50588-2 covers, in conjunction with EN 50588-1, transformers under iii) and iv) above, up to 36 kV (the data from 24 kV to 36 kV are under consideration) and for transformers with rated power less than or equal to 3150 kVA . Further documents exist which may be used by agreement between purchaser and manufacturer for cable boxes and enclosures. The dimensional requirements for cable boxes and protective enclosures are not enclosed in this document.

EN 50588-2 behandelt in Verbindung mit EN 50588-1 die vorstehend unter iii) und iv) aufgeführten Transfor-matoren bis 36 kV (die Daten von 24 kV bis 36 kV sind in Beratung) und für Transformatoren mit einer Bemessungsleistung bis einschließlich 3 150 kVA. Auf Vereinbarung zwischen Käufer und Hersteller dürfen weitere Dokumente für Kabelanschlusskästen und Schutzhauben angewendet werden. Maßfestlegungen für Kabelanschlusskästen und Schutzhauben sind nicht in diesem Dokument enthalten.

L'EN 50588-2 couvre, conjointement avec l'EN 50588-1, les transformateurs relevant des situations iii) et iv) ci-dessus, jusqu'à 36 kV (les données entre 24 kV et 36 kV étant à l'étude) et les transformateurs dont la puissance assignée est inférieure ou égale à 3 150 kVA. D'autres documents existants peuvent être utilisés dans le cadre d'un accord entre l'acheteur et le fabricant concernant les boîtes à câbles et les enveloppes. Les exigences en matière de dimension des boîtes à câbles et des enveloppes de protection ne sont pas spécifiées dans le présent document.
