Crane - Safety - Non-fixed load lifting attachments

This European Standard specifies safety requirements for the following non-fixed load lifting attachments for cranes, hoists and manually controlled load manipulating devices:
a)   plate clamps;
b)   vacuum lifters;
1)   self-priming;
2)   non-self-priming (pump, venturi, turbine);
c)   electric lifting magnets (battery fed and mains-fed);
d)   permanent lifting magnets;
e)   electro-permanent lifting magnets;
f)   lifting beams;
g)   C-hooks;
h)   lifting forks;
i)   clamps; and
j)   lifting insert systems for use in normal weight concrete,
as defined in Clause 3.
This standard does not give requirements for:
-   non-fixed load lifting attachments in direct contact with foodstuffs or pharmaceuticals requiring a high level of cleanliness for hygiene reasons;
-   hazards resulting from handling specific hazardous materials (e.g. explosives, hot molten masses, radiating materials);
-   hazards caused by operation in an explosive atmosphere;
-   hazards caused by noise;
-   hazards relating to the lifting of persons;
-   electrical hazards; and
-   hazards due to hydraulic and pneumatic components.
For high risk applications not covered by this standard, EN 13001-2:2014, 4.3.2 gives guidance to deal with them.
This standard covers the proof of static strength, the elastic stability and the proof of fatigue strength. For attachments designed for less than 16 000 lifting cycles, the proof of fatigue strength is covered by the proof of static strength (elastic and yielded conditions, see 5.1.2.1).
NOTE   This standard does not generally cover attachments intended to lift above people. Some attachments are suitable for that purpose if equipped with additional safety features. In such cases the additional safety features are specified in the specific requirements.
This standard does not cover slings, ladles, expanding mandrels, buckets, grabs, or grab buckets.
This standard is not applicable to non-fixed load lifting attachments for crane, hoists and manually controlled load manipulating devices which are manufactured before the date this publication as EN.

Dieses Dokument legt Sicherheitsanforderungen für folgende lose Lastaufnahmemittel für Krane, Hubwerke und handgeführte Manipulatoren fest:
a) Blechklemmen;
b) Vakuumheber:
1) selbstansaugend;
2) nicht selbstansaugend (Pumpe, Venturi-Düse, Gebläse);
c) Lasthebemagnete:
1) Elektromagnete (batteriegespeiste und netzgespeiste);
2) Permanentmagnete;
3) Elektro-Permanentmagnete;
d) Traversen;
e) C-Haken;
f) Krangabeln;
g) Klemmen;
h) Transportankersysteme für die Anwendung in Normalbeton,
wie sie in Abschnitt 3 definiert sind.
Dieses Dokument enthält keine Anforderungen an:
- lose Lastaufnahmemittel, die in direktem Kontakt mit Lebensmitteln oder pharmazeutischen Produkten stehen, die aus Hygienegründen hohen Sauberkeitsanforderungen unterliegen;
- Gefährdungen, die infolge der Handhabung bestimmter gefährlicher Materialien auftreten (z. B. Explosivstoffe, feuerflüssige Massen, radioaktive Materialien);
- Gefährdungen durch den Einsatz in explosionsfähiger Atmosphäre;
- Gefährdungen durch Lärm;
- Gefährdungen im Zusammenhang mit dem Heben von Personen;
- elektrische Gefährdungen;
- Gefährdungen durch hydraulische und pneumatische Bauteile.
Für risikoreiche Anwendungen, die von dieser Norm nicht behandelt werden, enthält EN 13001 2:2014, 4.3.2, eine Leitlinie.
Dieses Dokument behandelt den Nachweis der statischen Festigkeit, die elastische Festigkeit und den Nachweis der Ermüdungsfestigkeit.
Dieses Dokument behandelt im Allgemeinen keine Lastaufnahmemittel für den Transport über Personen hinweg. Einige Lastaufnahmemittel sind für diesen Zweck geeignet, sofern sie mit zusätzlichen Sicherungseinrichtungen ausgerüstet sind. In diesem Fall sind die zusätzlichen Sicherungseinrichtungen in den besonderen Anforderungen festgelegt.

Le présent document spécifie les prescriptions de sécurité pour les accessoires de levage amovibles suivants destinés aux appareils de levage à charge suspendue, aux palans et aux manipulateurs de charge à contrôle manuel :
a)   pinces à tôle ;
b)   ventouses de levage ;
1)   dispositifs auto-amorçants ;
2)   dispositifs non auto-amorçants (pompe, venturi, turbine) ;
c)   aimants de levage :
1)   électro-aimants de levage (alimentés par batterie et par le réseau) ;
2)   aimants permanents de levage ;
3)   aimants électro-permanents de levage ;
d)   palonniers ;
e)   cés de levage ;
f)   fourches de levage ;
g)   pinces ;
h)   systèmes d’ancre de levage pour le béton de masse volumique normale,
comme définis à l’Article 3.
Le présent document ne spécifie pas de prescriptions pour :
-   les accessoires de levage amovibles en contact direct avec des produits alimentaires ou pharmaceutiques exigeant un degré élevé de propreté pour des raisons d’hygiène ;
-   les phénomènes dangereux résultant de la manutention de produits dangereux spécifiques (par exemple, explosifs, masses fondues chaudes, produits radioactifs) ;
-   les phénomènes dangereux causés par le fonctionnement en atmosphère explosible ;
-   les phénomènes dangereux causés par le bruit ;
-   les phénomènes dangereux liés au levage des personnes ;
