This document defines terms in the field of welding on railway vehicles and associated components. This document is applicable to all assemblies, sub-assemblies or parts welded by any welding process, either manual, partly mechanized, fully mechanized or automatic welding as defined in EN ISO 4063.

Dieses Dokument legt Begriffe im Bereich Schweißen an Schienenfahrzeugen und zugehörigen Bauteilen fest. Diese Europäische Norm ist anwendbar für alle Baugruppen und Unterbaugruppen, welche durch schweißtechnische Verfahren in manueller, teilweise oder vollständig mechanisierter oder automatisierter Anwendung nach EN ISO 4063 gefertigt werden.
