Electrical and electronic household and office equipment - Measurement of low power consumption
IEC 62301:2011 specifies methods of measurement of electrical power consumption in standby mode(s) and other low power modes (off mode and network mode), as applicable. It is applicable to electrical products with a rated input voltage or voltage range that lies wholly or partly in the range 100 V a.c. to 250 V a.c. for single phase products and 130 V a.c. to 480 V a.c. for other products. The objective of this standard is to provide a method of test to determine the power consumption of a range of products in relevant low power modes (see 3.4), generally where the product is not in active mode (i.e. not performing a primary function). This standard does not specify safety requirements. It does not specify minimum performance requirements nor does it set maximum limits on power or energy consumption. This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition published in 2005 and constitutes a technical revision. The main changes from the previous edition are as follows: - greater detail in set-up procedures and introduction of stability requirements for all measurement methods to ensure that results are as representative as possible; - refinement of measurement uncertainty requirements for power measuring instruments, especially for more difficult loads with high crest factor and/or low power factor; - updated guidance on product configuration, instrumentation and calculation of measurement uncertainty; - inclusion of definitions for low power modes as requested by TC59 and use of these new definitions and more rigorous terminology throughout the standard; - inclusion of specific test conditions where power consumption is affected by ambient illumination.

La CEI 62301:2011 spécifie les méthodes de mesure de la consommation électrique en mode veille et dans d'autres modes faible puissance (mode arrêt et mode réseau), selon le cas. Elle s'applique aux produits électriques dont la tension assignée ou la plage de tensions est totalement ou partiellement comprise dans la plage de 100 V à 250 V, en courant alternatif, pour les produits monophasés et dans la plage de 130 V à 480 V, en courant alternatif, pour les autres produits. L'objet de cette norme est de fournir une méthode d'essai pour déterminer la consommation d'une gamme de produits dans les modes faible puissance correspondants (voir 3.4), généralement quand le produit n'est pas en mode actif (c'est-à-dire quand il n'effectue pas une fonction principale). La présente norme ne spécifie pas des exigences de sécurité. Elle ne précise pas les exigences d'aptitude à la fonction minimales et ne définit pas non plus les limites maximales de la consommation de puissance ou d'énergie. Cette deuxième édition annule et remplace la première édition parue en 2005, dont elle constitue une révision technique. Les principales modifications par rapport à l'édition précédente sont indiquées ci-après: - les procédures sont plus détaillées et des exigences de stabilité ont été introduites pour toutes les méthodes de mesures dans le but d'obtenir des résultats aussi représentatifs que possible; - les lignes directrices relatives à la configuration des produits, aux appareils de mesure et aux calculs des incertitudes de mesure ont été mises à jour; - des conditions d'essai spécifiques pour les appareils dont la consommation d'énergie est affectée par la luminosité ambiante ont été introduites.

Ta evropski standard določa merilne metode porabe električne energije in poročanje rezultatov za razpon električne in elektronske gospodinjske in pisarniške opreme, v nadaljevanju proizvodi.
Ta standard
– obravnava vprašanja, povezana z meritvami električne energije, zlasti nizke energije (v razponu nekaj vatov ali manj), ki jo porabijo proizvodi, napajani iz omrežja;
– podrobno opisuje zahteve za preskušanje enofaznih proizvodov za ocenjeno vhodno napetost v razponu od 100 V do 250 V izmeničnega toka, vendar se lahko, z nekaterimi prilagoditvami, uporablja za trifazne proizvode;
– prav tako je lahko opora pri določevanju energijske učinkovitosti proizvodov skupaj z drugimi, bolj specifičnimi proizvodnimi standardi.
Vrednost porabljene energije bo odvisna od načina delovanja proizvoda, ki se testira, če je, na primer, oprema izključena, v stanju pripravljenosti ali aktivnem načinu. Ta standard ne določa teh načinov in ga zato ni mogoče uporabljati kot samostojnega. Namesto tega zagotavlja merilno metodo pri različnih načinih, ki so določeni drugje.
Ta standard ne
- določa varnostnih zahtev;
- določa minimalnih zahteve za zmogljivost;
- postavlja maksimalnih omejitev pri porabi energije ali elektrike;
- vsebuje mejnih vrednosti ali postopkov za potrjevanje skladnosti s predpisanimi zahtevami.
OPOMBA Z1: Ta standard je bil zlasti napisan v podporo Uredbi Komisije (ES) št. 1275/2008 za meritve porabe energije v načinu izklopa in načinu stanja pripravljenosti. Ta standard določa merilne metode porabe električne energije v načinih stanja pripravljenosti in drugih načinih majhne porabe (način izklopa), kakor je primerno.
OPOMBA Z2: Ta standard velja za električne proizvode z ocenjeno vhodno napetostjo 230 V izmeničnega toka za enofazne proizvode in 400 V izmeničnega toka za trifazne proizvode.
OPOMBE Z3: Meritve porabe energije in delovanje proizvodov med predvideno uporabo so na splošno določene v bolj specifičnih proizvodnih standardih in niso zajeti v tem standardu.
OPOMBA Z4: Izraz »proizvodi« v tem standardu vključuje gospodinjske aparate ali proizvode informacijske tehnologije, potrošniško elektroniko, avdio-, video- in večpredstavnostne sisteme, vendar se metodologija merjenja lahko uporabi pri drugih proizvodih.
OPOMBA Z5: Kadar se na ta standard sklicuje več bolj specifičnih standardov ali postopkov, morajo ti določiti in navesti ustrezne pogoje, za katere velja ta preskusni postopek.

This European Standard was prepared by Technical Committee CENELEC TC 59X, Performance of
household and similar electrical appliances.
A draft amendment covering common modifications towards IEC 62301:2011, prepared by the
Technical Committees CENELEC TC 59X, Performance of household and similar electrical appliances
and CENELEC TC 108X, Safety of electronic equipment within the fields of audio/video, information
technology and communication technology, was submitted to the formal vote.
The combined texts were approved by CENELEC as EN 50564 on 2011-03-03.
This European Standard supersedes EN 62301:2005.
The following dates were fixed:
– latest date by which the EN has to be implemented
at national level by publication of an identical
national standard or by endorsement (dop) 2012-03-03
– latest date by which the national standards conflicting
with the EN have to be withdrawn (dow) 2014-03-03
Clauses, subclauses, notes, tables and figures which are additional to those in IEC 62301:2011
are prefixed “Z”.
This European standard was prepared under standardisation mandate M/439. To fulfill the
requirements of the mandate the scope of EN 50564 had to be broadened in comparison with
IEC 62301:2011 to cover a range of electrical and electronic household and office equipment. This is
reflected in the title of EN 50564 in comparison with the title of IEC 62301:2011.
In this European Standard, the common modifications to the International Standard are indicated by a
vertical line in the left margin of the text.

Standard SIST EN 50564 (sl), Električna in elektronska gospodinjska in pisarniška oprema – Meritve
majhne porabe energije, 2011, ima status slovenskega standarda in je istoveten evropskemu
standardu EN 50564 (en), Electrical and electronic household and office equipment – Measurement of
low power consumption, 2011.
Ta standard nadomešča SIST EN 62301:2006.
NACIONALNI PREDGOVOR
Evropski standard EN 50564:2011 je pripravil tehnični odbor Evropske organizacije za standardizacijo v
elektrotehniki CLC/TC 59X Karakteristike gospodinjskih in podobnih električnih aparatov. Evropski standard
je spremenjen mednarodni standard IEC 62301:2011, ki ga je pripravil tehnični odbor Mednarodne
elektrotehniške komisije IEC/TC 59 Karakteristike gospodinjskih in podobnih električnih aparatov.
Slovenski standard SIST EN 50564:2011 je prevod evropskega standarda EN 50564:2011. V primeru spo-
ra glede besedila slovenskega prevoda v tem standardu je odločilen izvirni evropski standard v angleškem
jeziku. Slovensko izdajo standarda je pripravil SIST/TC FGA Funkcionalnost gospodinjskih aparatov.
Odločitev za privzem tega standarda v juliju 2011 sprejel tehnični odbor SIST/TC FGA Funkcionalnost
gospodinjskih aparatov.
